The Ministry of Community Development has sanctioned approval for around 374 couples who will now receive the marriage grant in the course of the first quarter of this year.
The approved couples stand to benefit from a grant of Dh 70,000 and will be dispersed as a lump sum to the couples who fulfill the stipulated regulations. Applicants must essentially be UAE nationals with the ages of the husband and wife not exceeding 21 and 18, respectively.
