Employees in the Ajman government have much to cheer about as Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Ruler’s representative for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Chairman of the Ajman Free Zone, announced the issue of a new decree that would promote productivity and boost employee morale in the workplace. The decree was announced with regard to rewards, bonuses and incentivised systems in the Ajman government.
The announcement is a part of the initiatives of the Director General of Central Human Resources of the Ajman Government to take certain effective measures to encourage employees to be more productive and also to give just rewards while recognising positive patterns in behaviour. Additionally these measures will inspire the employees to imbue a competitive spirit and infuse a sense of loyalty towards the institution. The government also seeks to encourage the levels of creativity and to promote an interactive work culture which is mutually beneficial and also does well for the organisation.
The guidelines issued by the government specify the categories under which these incentives can be rewarded and also the quotient of monetary incentives that should be given out to deserving employees. The decree states that employees who work to contribute to the efficiency of the institution and succeed in cutting out costs will be suitably rewarded with monetary incentives, however, the rewards should not exceed the basic one-month salary.
