Al Haramain Perfumes Group of Companies (centre) receiving the prestigious UAE ‘Gold Card’ residency visa

Mr. Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman, whose company, ‘Al Haramain Perfumes’ was founded in 1970, has become the first expatriate of Bangladeshi origin to receive the prestigious ‘Gold Card’ announced last month by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The gold card is part of a permanent residency scheme for investors, entrepreneurs, specialised talents, researchers / scientists and outstanding students residing in the UAE.
The new permanent residency initiative has identified the first 6,800 qualified expatriates to benefit from this scheme’s unprecedented benefits.
The Gold Card was awarded to Mr. Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman and all his family members, on the 16th of June 2019 at the GDRFA Headquarters in Dubai, UAE.
Upon receiving the Gold Card, he said “I am greatly humbled, proud and honoured to receive this Gold Card, and I sincerely thank the visionary leaders of the UAE. Now, more than ever, I remain committed to contribute my best to the success of the UAE, and will continue to support the dream and ambitions of the great leaders of this great nation.”
