Dos and Don’ts for the Papal mass

Dos and Don’ts for the Papal mass

If you have already in possession of your ticket to attend the papal mass, here are some tips that will help you make the most of your trip while also ensuring that you don’t make any goof-us that may foil your plans to be part of the holy mass.

Make sure that you carry your Emirates ID, the tickets to the event, the transport ticket if you are availing the same and of course some water, snacks and other things that you may need during the long wait before the beginning of the mass.

Prevailing weather conditions indicate that the carrying of an umbrella would be practical. Also pack a few blankets or small quilts so you can sit on it or cover up in case you feel the chill. You can also carry collapsible chairs as long as they are compact enough. Since you will be spending so much time travelling and attending the event, it would be wise to include a power bank in your arsenal of items.

Do not carry items that could be termed dangerous, alcohol, pets, pyrotechnic devices, too large flags and banner, or flammable items. Be prepared to walk a couple of kilometres from where the buses drop you off. Moreover, you may have an extended wait at the stadium since the mass is expected to begin at 10.30 am.
