The Dubai Safari will close its doors to the public from 15th May to 1st October 2018, as the park is subjected to some beautification works. Once the embellishment programme scheduled to take place during the summer months is completed, the park will resume operation and the visitors can expect new engagement programmes and interactive experiences woven into the unique visitor journey. The upgrades aim to provide a better interactive and educational experience for the visitors once it reopens after the summer.
Spanning over 12.8 million sq. ft., the Dubai Safari is home to more than 2500 animals. The enhancement works include more climatised areas for animals and it will redesign the customer experience to remain in line with shifting trends in the market and to take advantage of emerging technologies to provide unique tourist attractions, which will result in increased number of tourists.
