Dubai: The three-day Super Sale in Dubai has just kicked off, and shoppers are assured of “unbeatable discounts” on clothes, shoes, bags and grocery items.
“This is an ideal time for visitors to avail from incredible discounts as we approach the end of the year with national celebrations and the festive season,” said Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, managing director for Majid Al Futtaim properties, shopping malls (UAE, Bahrain, and Oman).
The “3 Day Super Sale” is a regular fixture of Dubai’s retail calendar and is spearheaded by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai Tourism.
UAE consumers are headed for a full weekend of mega shopping frenzy, as hundreds of retailers across the city’s shopping malls begin slashing off their prices by up to 90 percent on Thursday.
Majid Al Futtaim has confirmed that French hypermarket brand Carrefour is offering an exclusive sale of up to 90 percent off, and deals are up for grabs at the grocery aisles in Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif and City Centre Me’aisem.
There are also further price markdowns at already discounted fashion items at Priceless, which offers designer brands from the catwalks of New York, Paris, Milan, and London, as well as at the all-time favorite of bargain hunters, Brands for Less.
Parents looking to shop for the little ones can find deals at Ralph Lauren Kids, Mamas & Papas, Build-a-Bear Workshop, while homeware stores such as Home Centre and Zara Home are also offering unexcelled discounts.
