Emirates to woo passengers’ with free ‘Ice Creams’

Don’t be surprised if one finds Emirates branded ice cream carts placed at the departure and transit areas of Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport.  From June 15 the airline is serving free ice creams to passengers from and through Dubai.

The ice cream, labelled Emperor, is made by Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC), and the airline expects to serve two million cups of ice cream to its customers over the next three months. Customers can choose from a wide variety of flavours like chocolate, vanilla, date and arabic coffee, mango sorbet, and lemon sorbet. The ice creams will be served during peak departure times every day — between 12am and 3am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm, and 6pm and 9pm.
