The 52nd branch of the Grand Hypermarket, a retail sector under the Regency Group, began operation at the Grand Mall in Al Musalla, Sharjah, which was inaugurated by Sheikh Salem Abdul Rahman Salem Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Rulers’ office. The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Khalid Ahmed Al Qasimi, Sultan Al Shamsi, Famous Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty, DM Healthcare CMD Padmasree Dr. Azad Moopan and Regency Group Chairman – Shamsuddin bin Mohiyuddin.
Group Managing Director Dr. Anwar Amin, Directors – Abdurahiman A.P., Abdul Subhan bin Shamsuddin, Mohammed N.V., Mohammed bin Aslam Mohiyuddin, Silver Home Director Salim V. T., Government officials, prominent personalities in the social and cultural sectors of the UAE, Regency Group Regional Directors, Management Representatives and thousands of Customers also were in presence.
Grand mall, built near the Al Gharb Police Station, has more than 2 lakh sq. ft. wide area. Besides, there are parking facilities for more than 400 vehicles. Garments, electronics, electrical products, home appliance, IT products, furniture, food items, etc. are all available in Grand Hypermarket in Grand Mall. There was a big rush at the inauguration since many of the available products were having a special discount to mark the occasion.
The Chairman of the Regency Group, Shamsuddin bin Mohiyuddin, expressed his gratitude towards the country’s rulers, residents and expats for making the event a grand success. In addition to Grand Hypermarket, a number of business outlets including Jewellery, Money Exchange, Electronics, Mobile Shops and Watch Shops began operation in the Grand Mall.
Group Managing Director Dr. Anwar Amin said that there will be a food court serving Indian, Arabic, and Chinese cuisine set up which can accommodate 300 people and a wide 2000 sq.ft. area designated for a range of fun-filled activities for the kids. The management said that the Ramadan special discounts provided on select products will continue in the coming days as well.
