H.H Sheikh Khalifa issues decree to establish the UAE Embassy in Zimbabwe

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued several federal decrees which were published in the latest edition of the Federal Official Gazette, to establish the UAE Embassy in Zimbabwe and appoint and promote members of the diplomatic corps.

The UAE Embassy will be established in the Zimbabwean capital, Harare. The decrees also stipulate the transfer of Saqr Nasser Ahmed Abdullah Al Raissy to Kuwait as the UAE Ambassador; the appointment of Mohamed Omar Abdullah Belfakih, UAE Ambassador to Singapore, as the Non-Resident Ambassador to Papua New Guinea and the appointment of Dr. Salim Ali Mohammed Al Khadim Al Dhahnani as the UAE Consul-General in Karachi, Pakistan. It also includes the promotion of members of the diplomatic and consular corps.
