The organisers of the Expo 2020 are looking to hire a motivated and talented individual as Media Operations Administration Coordinator. The communications department handles all external communications, including earned news, public relations, media relations, editing, translation, and other writing as well as attracting media to attend and cover the event and manage their facilities and services. The key purpose of the department is to communicate Expo 2020 Dubai news to media, locally, regionally and internationally.
The incumbent will be part of the Media Operations team that is responsible for design, planning and management of all media facilities, services and operational requirements. He or she will report to the Director Media Operations and will play a vital role in shaping the operation of the entire department to ensure an effective media operation.
The ideal candidate would have over 2 years in a similar role and experience working with large corporations. Moreover, he or she should have a degree or diploma within a related field, experience supporting a director and team in an administrative capacity, fluency in English and Arabic and excellent communication skills and an ability to work independently and as part of a team, among others.
