The Expo 2020 organisers are looking to hire a Duty Security Officer (DSO) who will manage ingress and egress security control measures that includes perimeter security across the site to effect the delivery of Expo 2020 security standards through each phase. The incumbent is expected to work one eight-hour (rotational shift) per day, five days a week, with two days off in every seven days.
The job responsibilities include developing site security management plans and affording Expo 2020 oversight of the site, 24/7. Responsibilities will grow over time to meet the needs of the security department. The candidate will also have to ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and premises, understanding the location, site roads, contractor companies, sub-contractors, consultants and point of contacts and respond to issues to provide necessary assistance when needed, among others.
The idael candidate would have 3-5 years work experience, in particular in Site Security Management, a Bachelor Degree or recognized Security Qualification, planning and organizational skills, among others. For more details, visit the official website of the Expo 2020.
