The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, will be in Dubai to attend the World Government Summit (WGS 2019). He will also be addressing the government representatives during a key session of the Summit that is scheduled to kick off this Sunday.
Imran Khan will elaborate on his vision for the future of Pakistan, a nation that is presently going through an economically stricken phase. He will also talk about how he perceives the role of Pakistan in the region and its socioeconomic significance in a global context.
The WGS is being held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The fact that Khan is attending the meet is seen as a furthering of the agendas of the summit. The Pakistan PM is also expected to talk about the efforts the Pakistani government is taking to boost the country’s image and position in terms of economy and trade.
