From next week, if you are a resident of Sharjah, you will be able to convey your suggestions and opinions on public service via an interactive map that is being launched in the Emirate.
The launch of the interactive map has been initiated by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau’s Sharjah Events at the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF), an event that is scheduled to run on from March 20-21. The map has been designed with the motive of building a viable bridge of communication between the government entities and residents and citizens. The move will help in obtaining valuable feedback and go a long way in maintaining and developing the sites that are designated on the map.
The measure is perceived to be an integral part of the framework that works on buidling a more sustainable and improved future for the generations to come and will pave the way for innovation to shine through. Moreover, it is also a bid to include the public in a stage of the decision making process. The map is expected to be put up on a large screen at the IGCF platform functioning at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
