Jet Airways temporarily curbs operations at Abu Dhabi Airport

The noted indian airline, Jet Airways has ceased operations at Abu Dhabi Airport. The airline grounded its planes since Monday and attributed the move to ‘operational reasons’.

In addition to Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi is one of the most significant international transit points for the airline. Meanwhile, Etihad Airport Services released a statement that said, “Jet Airways has cancelled all their flights from Abu Dhabi with immediate effect from March 18 due to operational reasons”.

The airline Etihad Airways said that it had cancelled numerous inbound and outbound flights from  Abu Dhabi because of operational considerations. They further said that all affected passengers were booked onto other flights or issued a full refund according to standard operating procedures.
