The next few years are expected to see a rise in the number of job opportunities in the UAE, thanks to a Dh 50 billion economic package sanctioned by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The economic package for Abu Dhabi was introduced to lend an impetus to the economic growth over a span of three years. The Executive Committee of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council has received instructions to plan the implementation of the economic package within 90 days.
Consequently, an estimated 10,000 jobs are projected to be available in the public and private sectors of the UAE. The Office of Government Communication in Abu Dhabi announced on Twitter that the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation will coordinate measures with the employment opportunities committee to facilitate further proceedings on the matter.
In a new initiative that will improve the conduciveness of doing business in Abu Dhabi and improve the quality of the work experience of UAE residents, Sheikh Mohamed rolled out 10 new economic measures.
