Job-seeking Emiratis flock to Tawdheef

 

As the Tawdheef programme got underway, thousands of Emirati youth congregated at the venue to seek suitable employment. The first day of the Tawdheef, which is an Emiratisation career fair, saw proactive participation from numerous Emiratis who came in to submit their resumes and meet employers.
The Tawdheef is seen as a suitable avenue that serves the public and private companies to develop their workforce and reinfore it with fresh Emirati talent.

The job fair was inaugurated by Sheikh Nahyan Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec) on Monday. The event will continue to attract job seekers till January 30.

The category of Emirati job seekers included fresh graduates, students and even those who were looking for a job change. More than a 100 private and public entities participated in the fair in a bid to attract talent. The platform is percieved to be a practical and cohesive forum that will enable Emiratis to be suitably employed.
