The Chief minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, will arrive in the UAE on October 17 and will be in the country on a four-day visit. The Chief Minister will be seeking additional funds targeted at the rebuilding and rehabilitation of flood hit Kerala. As part of the strategy, Mr Vijayan will participate in public meetings and also interact with the business community to raise funds for the state of Kerala that was ravaged by floods last month.
After he arrives in Abu Dhabi on October 17, on October 18, Mr Vijayan will be addressing a public meeting at the India Social and Cultural Centre in Abu Dhabi. This news was announced by the expats organisations that are instrumental in managing and synchronizing the CM’s public interactions in the country. He will also be part of similar events scheduled to be held in Dubai as well.
The CM is on a fund raising mission which he hopes to achieve by interacting with Keralite expats and will also gauge the investment opportunities present in the country.
