LuLu adds to and strengthens their meat-product export tie-ups at the Gulfood 2018
As the Gulfood 2018 ends, LuLu retains a strong upper hand in the meat-based products export trade, not only in the Middle East but around the world. 80% of their trade partners of the meat-based products around the world, including Egypt, Armenia, Algeria, Iraq and other Middle East countries, visited the LuLu stall at the exhibition. LuLu Group’s strong influence in Malaysia, Indonesia and China were obvious from the trade partners’ visits to their stall to further expand their contracts. In India, the Group owns 3 slaughterhouses and 2 processing units spread in UP, Delhi and Maharashtra, with thousands of workers benefiting from the huge employment opportunity.
Salim Musa, Director Marketing, LuLu Group told Emirates PR that they’re seeing a huge increase in meat export trends in the coming years, compared to the 15,000 MT meat products that are currently being exported to different countries around the world. “The quality and sustainability of the meat products that we export are being recognised around the world. The new partners from dozens of countries who have signed contracts with us during the Gulfood 2018 for the distribution of our products are indeed proving the trust and respect people have for us as a brand. This year’s Gulfood gives us great hope for our future in the meat-based product exports.” said Saleem V.I, COO and Director of Operations, LuLu Group.
For LuLu Group, Gulfood 2018 opened the door to West African countries including Gambia, Congo, Nigeria, Ghana, etc. facilitating export of their meat products to even more countries. Under the strong leadership of M.A. Yusuff Ali, and the capable hands of M.A Ashraf Ali and Salim M.A, the Group continues to evolve and spread its wings further to achieve new feats.
“LuLu Group’s Higher Management Team will be visiting Gambia next week to study further opportunities in response to an official invitation from Adama Barrow, The President of Gambia.” – Salim Musa.
