On Tuesday, the Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) announced the launch of the ‘Hope Generation’, an initiative that will encourage students to explore their potential in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The schools who are keen to host the EMM team can email them at email@example.com before April 30.
The initiative is also aimed to trigger the curiosity and interest of students in the domains of space science and exploration. In line with the initiative, the Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) team will conduct a series of talks, lectures, meetings and workshops for students from middle and high schools, motivating the students to think about a career in space research and exploration.
Omran Sharif, the Project Manager of EMM said, “The Hope Generation initiative is part of MBRSC’s strategy to support the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership to prepare generations of qualified cadres that acquire the basics of modern science to work on technological innovation and scientific research in space and advanced science, as well as achieve the UAE’s strategic plans in space exploration. We are pleased that the EMM team will share its expertise in space science with new generations and introduce Emirati youth to space exploration projects that will enrich their future choices and inspire them to study advanced science”.
