Mercury dips further in UAE

It looks like the cold season is here to stay as the mercury continues to dip in the UAE. Although February is advancing steadily, the cold season is getting more robust.

This week, the nation recorded significant drop in temperatures. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said that temperature may be as high as 26 degree during the day while falling to as low as 8 degree celcius during the nights.

Fujairah, Kalba, Dibba and other eastern parts of the country had some great weather conditions as residents took to social media to post footage of high waves and seagulls soaring high. Tomorrow, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, accompanied by humidity levels that may hover in the 90s.

According to forecasts from the NCM, the temperature forecast for the end of the week is anticipated to be 8 °C in Umm Al Quwain, 15 °C in Ajman and Fujairah, 8 °C in Sharjah, 15 °C in Dubai and 12 °C in Abu Dhabi.
