The joint effort of higher officials of Dubai police and Malayalis in Dubai to distribute iftar kits in labor camps catches wide attention. Its a heartening to see the police officers collecting the food items from different sources and distributing them at selected camps where it requires the most.
The reputed social activist from Calicut district, Mr.Nazer Nandi is the key person who is putting his heart and soul to coordinate and collect the food kits from different centers across Dubai. Dubai Police’s Protective Security and Emergency Department are distributing this iftar kits from the first day of Ramadan and the day 1 saw around 300 people breaking their fast which inspired more and more people and association to contribute more food verities to this mission and most of them are people from Kerala.Whilst handling a very responsible position Director of the Dubai Department, its commendable that  Major General Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Ghaithi taking time out to lend his hand to this supportive cause and showing interest to know the daily life of the labors if they are getting a proper salary, food, travel provisions, etc. “Its important for people to understand those police officers are their  comrades, not enemies and ventures like this would help them to fathom this fact” said Mr.Abdulla who also commented on how efficiently Malayalam medias do their job to pass the right information at the right time.” it feels great to see more and more Malayalis are contributing to our iftar program day by day” he added. Miss. Hadeel Yahya Al Hubaishi, the event manager of the police department is also there with this program to look after the day-to-day matters.
