Samsung Electronics unveiled its much anticipated Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones and the pre-orders have already begun in the UAE. Following the launch of the smartphones on Sunday at the ‘Mobile World Congress’ in Barcelona, the UAE’s two telecom providers and a number of retailers started accepting pre-orders for the South Korean giant’s latest flagship.
The pre-orders began shortly after midnight following the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. Etisalat, Du, Axiom Telecom, Jumbo Electronics, Sharaf DG, Eros Digital, Souq.com, etc. are also offering some freebies along with the device. Both devices come in three storage configurations – 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The 5.8 inch Galaxy S9 will sell for Dh3,099, Dh3,299 and Dh3,499 while the 6.2 inch Galaxy S9+ will sell for Dh3,499, Dh3,699 and Dh3,899, in the order of their respective storage configurations.
