The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme has approved the names of 300 citizens who are eligible for residential support, valued at AED323 million. The approval is part of 1,000 residential support decisions that will be announced at the end of every week of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The programme seeks to provide stability and happiness for Emirati families, following in the footsteps of the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who aimed to achieve this stability through ambitious residential projects.
Approving the decisions is in line with the directives of President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and the monitoring of HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. The programme also adopted new regulations for returning or disposing of residences and approved conditions for cancelling residential support decisions during any stage, including the implementation stage.
