Residents relieved as forecasts predict a fall in humidity

Residents across the UAE can expect some much needed reprieve from the sultry weather as the humidity is anticipated to drop a few notches this week. This news comes as a respite for residents who have been battling hot and humid conditions for the past few weeks. Yes, even though residents can still continue the ice –cream eating sprees and slushy frozen drinks, the weather will be a lot more bearable.
The National Centre of Meteorology captured the temperature in Dubai at a low 37 degrees while Abu Dhabi fell to a relatively mild 36 degrees, on Tuesday. The hot and hazy conditions across the country are expected to remain, though accompanied by light winds that could reach a speed of 15-25 km. The levels of humidity are projected to linger at about 30 per cent. The bouts of high humidity were followed closely by spells of drier weather this last week and similar conditions persisted through the weekend as well.
However, the weather forecasts from Accuweather, the global forecaster have a slightly different pitch. The predictions say that temperatures could touch 42 degrees while a low level of humidity will persist through next week.
