As the auspicious occasion of Eid Al Adha dawns on the Muslim world, rulers in the UAE will offer Eid prayers at mosques in their respective Emirates along with hundreds of other devoted worshippers. On Tuesday, faithful believers across the globe will herald Eid Al Adha and celebrate one of the most momentous and significant occasions in Islam.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, will offer prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, following which he will receive well-wishers at his palace. Meanwhile, Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, will pray at the Al Badee Musallah after which he will greet visitors at his official residence.
Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman, is expected to lead prayers at Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Mosque where he will be joined by various local dignitaries. Meanwhile, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince, will arrive to offer prayers at Eid Grand Musalla in Khuzam.
