Shamma bint Suhail Faris Al Mazrui, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, gets listed among the top seven ‘female activists under 23 who are changing the world’. The CNBC list came out around the same time as the International Women’s Day. The list is centred around the theme ‘Press for Progress’ and urges women of all generations to use their voices to make a difference in the world.
Forbes Middle East also recently listed Shamma Al Mazrui in this year’s ‘Arab 30 under 30’, which recognises a dynamic mix of social entrepreneurs, artists, celebrities and intellectuals that are of Arab origin. She is also the world’s youngest minister and holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University Abu Dhabi and a master’s in public policy from the University of Oxford, which she attended as the UAE’s first Rhodes Scholar.
