Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited Pakistan in what is his first visit to the Asian country in the last decade. The Crown Prince was in Islamabad on Sunday and held talks with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.
Pakistan is currently in the process of seeking financial aid from the UAE to deal with the bleak financial situation that confronts the country. Sheikh Mohammed makes the visit to the financially stricken country as the UAE has pledged billions of dollars in aid and investmnet for Pakistan.
Sheikh Mohammed left Pakistani shores on Sunday night following a fruitful visit. He said that the UAE was keen to further cooperation with Pakistan and pursue common bilatreal goals. He also appreciated the country deeply attributing a deep personal bond with the nation since his childhood.
