Sheikh Mohammed’s daughter ties the knot in Dubai

Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, tied the knot with Sheikh Suhail bin Ahmed bin Juma Al Maktoum on Wednesday.

The couple got engaged earlier in December 2017 and the news of the engagement broke when the Dubai royal family members’ congratulatory posts went viral.

The royal wedding reception was held at Dubai’s World Trade Centre on Wednesday, a year after Sheikh Mohammed’s daughter Sheikha Latifa’s wedding in December 2016. In December, a wedding invitation card was posted on Instagram which hinted that the big day was round the corner, but the date wasn’t officially confirmed.

The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammed, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE royal families, dignitaries and VIPs of the UAE.

Sheikha Maryam is a Zayed University business graduate with a passion for photography, poetry and animals.

Members of the Dubai royal family, including Sheikha Maryam’s sisters posted congratulatory posts on Instagram, wishing the beautiful bride a lifetime of love and happiness.
