Smart Dubai has launched the upgraded version of its flagship, ‘Dubai Now’ platform and app, which will now feature ‘Rashid’, an AI-powered smart city advisor that can answer user requests via the platform whether it is typed or voice commands. ‘Rashid’ will offer customers a seamless and original experience and allow them to effortlessly access high-quality services from the convenience of their smartphones.
‘Rashid’ can interact with users, answer queries in both Arabic and English, and carry out tasks at the request of the user. The app (Dubai Now) itself is the first government service of its kind in the Middle East and has successfully employed AI and other advanced technologies to streamline and improve operations in both the public and private sectors in Dubai. The latest upgrade has improved the app’s interface design, included more services on offer, provides a more personalised experience for each user where they can include their personal preferences and has the personal assistant service powered by ‘Rashid’. The upgrade also reflects Smart Dubai’s new corporate identity, with the new design and colours.
