A streamlined process that has been recently launched will now make it much easier for teachers to be recruited in Abu Dhabi. The Private Abu Dhabi Schools System (Pass) is expected to drastically cut the time involved in recruiting teachers to private schools in Abu Dhabi. Initially, the minimum documents required for teacher requirement was 30.However, with the new system in place, only two documents will be needed to for the recruitment process to proceed.
The implementation of the process was announced by Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (Adek) at the Gitex event in Dubai. This new system will also facilitate the transfer of teachers from one school in the emirate to another. The Pass has been fused with various other government digital systems in order to reduce the quotient of paper work.
Adek is in charge of carrying out checks and reviews on applications that come in from candidates seeking to teach in private schools. They also gauge if the prospective candidate is fit or eligible to work in the emirates and if they meet the requirements put in place. Pass can furthermore establish if the candidate is fit to work in a certain position in a specific school. With the new system, teachers can check if they are eligible to teach in the UAE while they are still in their home countries. Moreover, with the pass it will now take only 10 days to get approval instead of the previous 2 months.
