As the Global Blockchain Challenge unfolded in Dubai, the top three spots were won by three start-ups. The start-ups were from the US, Indonesia and Canada.
The winners will walk away with the cash prize of $45,000. The event was held in its third edition and was part of the Future Blockchain Summit 2019 that concluded on April 2 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The start-ups that won the top spots were Quantstamp, Igrowchain and Grayblock who won the first, second and third places, respectively.
The event was conducted by Smart Dubai in cooperation with the Dubai Future Accelerators (DFA). The event focused on projects that spanned various domains such as real estate, asset management, payments, energy, education, health care, and supply chain management, among others.
