President Xi Jinping’s visit to the UAE has led to a new level of bilateral cooperation between the two nations and fortified a friendship that has remained consistent through the decades. This strong bond between the two great nations was manifested in the release of new stamps released by the Emirates Post Group. The new stamps feature the portraits of the leaders of the two countries and commemorate their historic ties.
The Emirates Post Group (EPG) has released three new stamps that bear testimony to the 34 years of bilateral and diplomatic relations between the two nations that have not just stood the test of time but have strengthened considerably through the ages.
The stamps display three distinct designs, with one displaying the portrait of Sheikh Khalifa. Yet another stamp bears the portrait of the Chinese President, while the third one exhibits the flags of both the nations. The EPG has released a total of 50,000 copies of the stamps in addition to 1,000 first-day cover sheets. Offered at a price of Dh 3, the stamps were released in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
