UAE ministers urge Emiratis to join private sector

The ministers in the UAE have called upon young enterprising Emiratis to join the country’s bustling private sector. The ministers said that the private sector represented possibilities that were beyond the scope of the public sector. The private sector accounts for a major fraction of the UAE’s GDP.

Nasser bin Thani Juma Al Hamli, Cabinet Member and Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, was speaking at the Mohamed bin Zayed Majlis for Future Generations and also added that young Emiratis could also benefit immensely by simultaneously pursuing work experience in the private sector while carrying out their education. He said that it was an opportunity for the young people to explore where their strengths lay and also great for self-development.

The minister also spoke at length on Emiratisation. He said that the private sector had a considerable role to play in the economy. He highlighted his own professional life to drive home the point that excelling in one’s field was essential.
