In a measure that is perceived to enhance the quality of education in the UAE, schools will initiate the Moral Education Standardised Assessment (MESA) from today.
The MESA will be instrumental in measuring and assessing the performance of the curriculum that involves moral education. The initiative will run on till Thursday and is scheduled to be implemented in 78 schools across the UAE.
The measure will cover 10,000 students who comprise grades three, five , seven and nine. The MESA, which is a computer-based exercise, will measure the manner in which the students imbibe Moral Education and will also review its efficacy, in addition to tracking its role in personality development.
The MESA and its platform was developed in coordination with the testing organisation ACT Inc that is renowned for standardised testing that caters to more than 2 million schools across the globe.
