The much awaited Warner Bros World, touted to be the world’s largest indoor theme park was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
The park will however be thrown open to the public on July 25 following a grand opening ceremony. After the inauguration, the rulers of the UAE proceeded to take a tour of the park while they were briefed on its various facets. Sheikh Mohammad then took to Twitter and said that the park would prove to be an exciting new destination for families to visit and also marks a red letter day in the context of the tourism sector in the country. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also tweeted about the UAE’s ambitious plans to provide an impetus to the development of the Tourism sector and said that the country was now among the top global destinations that provided quality family entertainment.
The massive indoor theme park promises to be a source of endless delight to its young visitors and will bring to life reel life heroes like Superman, Batman, Flintstones and Wonder Woman. The park will have six designated lands that include Gotham city, Cartoon Junction and Dynamite Gulch among others.
