The Dar El Ber Society has come up with a noble initiative to povide clean, cool drinking water to the public in Dubai, especially during the hot summer months. The provision of clean drinking water is one of the most noblest initiatives that a charity organisations can indulge in.
Accordingly, DABS has gone about setting up the installation of about 100 water coolers across the emirate of Dubai. The motive is to provide clean drinking water to the public. The initiative is especially targeted at the underprevileged sections of society like labourers, gardeners and cnstruction workers who languish under the hot sun without cool water anywhere in the vicinity.
The officials installed water coolers on Thursday in various locations in the city. Two coolers were set up in Al Garhoud, three were installed in a labour accommodation in Al Quoz, two at the Philippines Overseas Labour Office, one at Zabeel park and two in Bur Dubai.
The measure by the charity is also in line with the Year of Tolerance and its values, thus providing for the needy and underprevileged people.
