Many Indian expats from Kerala living in the UAE have suffered financial losses and lost their personal belongings as a result of the devastating floods that hit the state. To help the expats make a recovery from the onslaught of the floods, a Dubai-based bank is giving out loans as part of a larger campaign to help the community tide over the crisis. The Emirates NBD bank has informed its customers about the special offer through the medium of emails and text messages.
The email informs prospective loan seekers about the initiative titled ‘a small gesture in support of the Kerala floods’. The message from the bank said that customers can avail themselves of 100 per cent cashback on the processing fees and also a lot of other benefits if they choose the bank for acquiring loans.
The message from the bank also added that the calamity was indeed very unfortunate and the bank wants to support its customers to help their loved ones back in Kerala. The initiative is primarily targeted at Keralite customers who have personally affected by the natural calamity. The bank is offering attractive interest rates starting from 6.99 per cent. The offer is valid till the end of September and you need to do to avail the loan is an Aadhar card that validates a Kerala address or a passport that attests to the same.
