Yas Waterworld has added yet another feather to the arsenal of world records that the UAE holds under its belt. The Yas Waterworld took the measure as part of the celebrations marking the “Year of Tolerance” in the UAE, and was successful in setting the Guinness World record for the ‘Most Nationalities in a Swimming Pool’.
The event was conducted on Friday as representatives of the Guinness World Records looked on. Also present during the record-setting event were the management of Farah Experiences and Yas Waterworld senior management.
The event saw a record number of people representing various nationalities congregating to establish the world record. Around 102 countries were represented and showcased the spirit of tolerance and peaceful co-existence that is the hallmark of the nation.
The guests who arrived at the venue held the respective flags of their nations while standing in the Amwaj Wave Pool. The participants then took pleasure in a variety of fun-filled activities such as adventures, face painting and rides and slides.
